TEen summer intensive production

• Ages: 12–18
• Format: Audition-based teen production intensive
• Rehearsals: 5 consecutive days, 9 hours per day
• Performances: 3 full performances at the end of the week

Students will train and perform in a collaborative, ensemble-driven environment while developing:

• Vocal performance
• Acting & storytelling
• Movement & stage presence
• Ensemble connection and leadership

All students must submit a video audition for consideration.

Students will submit:

• One assigned song cut from Godspell Jr.
• One provided script side from the show

Students should choose the song option that best showcases their voice, personality, storytelling ability, and connection to the style of the show.

👉 Audition materials, song options and cuts, and instructions will be provided  via email after completing an online registration.

Casting will be completed prior to the intensive.

Accepted students will receive role assignments and preparation materials in advance. Students are expected to arrive on the first day:

• Memorized on all assigned lines and lyrics
• Familiar with their music
• Ready to begin staging immediately

This expectation is essential to the success of our fast-paced intensive format.

All cast members will attend one required Saturday rehearsal prior to camp.

This rehearsal will focus on music review, ensemble work, and preparing for the intensive week.

Due to the fast-paced nature of this production, full attendance is required.

Students must be available for:

• All rehearsals
• The required pre-intensive rehearsal
• All performances

No conflicts are permitted during the intensive week or performances.

Monday -Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday and Saturday, Times TBD

Students should arrive each day dressed and ready to move:

• Black athletic pants, jazz pants, or leggings
• Black t-shirt, EPAC shirt, or show shirt
• Black socks
• Sneakers
• Hair neatly groomed and pulled back

👉 No Crocs, flip-flops, or restrictive clothing.

This production will be presented in a modern setting.

To help keep tuition affordable, students will provide costume pieces from their own wardrobe rather than purchasing full costumes.

• Modern, everyday-style clothing
• Layered, expressive, character-driven looks
• All items must be approved prior to performances

Simple pieces. Strong storytelling. That’s where the magic happens.

Students should bring:

• Lunch and snacks
• A labeled water bottle
• Script and materials
• Pencil/highlighter

Students will remain on-site for the full day.

Tuition covers a 45-hour production intensive, including rehearsals, instruction, and three performances.

This program is offered at a special introductory rate for the summer season.

Godspell Jr. is the epitome of an ensemble-based show.

The only named roles are Jesus and Judas. All other performers are part of the ensemble and will be featured through solos, small groups, and storytelling moments. Every performer is essential. Every voice matters.
