How Auditions Work for Seussical Jr. at EPAC

At Elevate Performing Arts Conservatory, we believe auditions should be a learning experienceβ€”not a source of stress. Because of that, we do not require students to prepare individual audition pieces in advance.


Instead, auditions take place on the first day of class and are built right into our warm-ups and group activities. Students will learn everything in the room, together, with guidance from our directing team.


During our group-based audition process, we will:


  • Teach songs from the show
  • Learn choreography together
  • Explore acting through fun ensemble exercises
  • Help students understand how a real audition works
  • Support each student as they gain confidence and discover their strengths


This approach allows every performerβ€”beginners and experienced students alikeβ€”to shine in a safe, encouraging environment. It also lets us get to know their personalities, vocal ranges, and comfort levels naturally.


No prior experience is needed. No pressure. Just learning, growing, and discovering the joy of Seuss!

Seussical Jr. Production Details

Seussical Jr. will audition on the first day of class, Janaury 29th from 5:30 PM - 8:00 pm. No Preparation needed!  Callbacks will be held Saturday, Janauary 31st, 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Please be sure to read the information above about how we hold auditions. 


Absolutely! We really need to know who will be attending so we can be prepared for each and every student that walks through the doors.


We are currently rehearsing at the Fulshear Church of Christ, located in Fulshear on Charger Way, just across the street from the schools. We are so appreciative that they are allowing us to use their space until we can find our own home.


Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. We will also hold 6 additional Saturday rehearsals throughout this session. Please carefully read the dates below:


THURSDAY REHEARSAL DATES: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

  • JANUARY 29th (Auditions held during class time) 
  • FEBRUARY 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th
  • MARCH 5th, 19th, 26th 
  • APRIL 9th, 16th, 23rd* 30th* (*MANDATORY  REHEARSAL NO ABSENCES PLEASE, the 30th will be held at Thrive Church Fulshear)
  • Please Note: No rehearsals will be held on March 12th Spring Break week and April 2nd Easter Week


SATURDAY REHEARSAL DATES & Times: 

Please note that Saturday rehearsal dates and times are subject to change based on the church needs. We will be given advanced notice if  a conflict with the church arises.

  • JANUARY 31st: 10:30AM - 1:30PM (Callbacks & Rehearsal)
  • FEBRUARY 21st: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • MARCH 28th: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • APRIL 11th 9:30 AM -  2:00 PM (DressRehearsal #1, No absences) 
  • APRIL 18th 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Tech/DressRehearsal #2, No absences) 
  • April 25th 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Dress Rehearsal #3, no absences)


Please Note: No rehearsals will be held March 9th (Spring Break) as well as April 2nd (Easter Week)  


  • We do understand conflicts can arise, but we ask that students try their best to attend all scheduled class dates unless otherwise approved. We will give a conflict form that must be returned on the first class day. 
  • Tech rehearsal and performances are mandatory. No absences are allowed on those dates.


Tech Week will be held at Thrive Church in Fulshear. We will be in thetheatre one night only for our dress and technical rehearsal, Thursday,  April  30th from 5:00 -9:00 PM No absences are allowed. 



We accept students ages 6-18 at EPAC of all experince levels!


 Performances  to be held Friday, May 1st & Saturday, May 2nd ,  at Thrive Church in Fulshear. More information will be given regarding tech week at Thrive Church. 


  • Registration Fee: $45 per student or $65 per family, non-refundable
  • Production Fee: $100  per student. non-refundable. This fee helps to cover the cost of costumes, props, sets, scripts, etc. 
  • Tuition Per Student: $550 non-refundable
  • Payment Options: Pay in Full , a Split Payment, or Monthly Plan
  • Processing Fees will be charged on each transaction.


Want to pay in full? You will receive a 10% tuition discount for payments made in full .


Payment Methods

We offer two convenient payment options:

  • Bank Transfer (ACH): 1% processing fee
  • Credit/Debit Card: Standard processing fee (approximately 3.6%)

Processing fees are calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before payment is submitted.

Processing fees are charged by the payment processor and are not retained by the studio.


If you choose the Split Payment Plan, you will owe $145 +processing fees (production & registration fees, non-refundable) due upon sign up/first class day.  You will then be placed on an automatic payment schedule for 2 remaining payments due on February 15th and March 15th in the amount of $275 each + processing fees. 


lf you choose the monthy payment plan option, the amount due upon sign up is $145 + processing fees(production & registration fees, non-refundable). You will then be placed on an automatic payment schedule to deduct on the 1st  of each month, beginning in February for the amount of $137.50 + processing fees through May 1, 2026.
